Scrapbooking Embellishments

Scrapbooking Embellishments are supplied to me from http://www.myelegantthings.com/SCRAPBOOKING-EMBELLISHMENTS/and have been for many years. Metal scrapbook embellishments are very superior in longevity and are malleable. That is, you can bend them!

Here is a $1000 dollar TIP: An extra benefit is that these scrapbooking embellishments can be attached to the exterior of the scrapbook with E6000 glue. Adorn the covers of your scrapbooks with these beauties! You are only limited by your imagination, Girls!

Add a professional seasoned look to your project with the simple addition of polished brass leaves or ferns? Or how about adding twin "cherubs" to the cover of your scrapbook?

There are many benefits for you to discover when you scroll through page after page of unique hard-to-find brass stampings and scrapbooking supplies. Horse heads for the horse lover. Derby horses as well can be found.

I was pleasantly surprised at the natural 'patina' that develops on the brass finish over time. The natural tarnish look enhances the age of the book cover and makes it look like it has more character. I could rub the brass pieces and a shine would come on them which looked better on my scrapbook. A simple pencil eraser could be used to remove the tarnish in targeted areas to bring out the base relief to my advantage. More detail the better...as I always say.

So, check out my favorite secret scrapbooking supplies source for embellishments at http://www.myelegantthings.com/SCRAPBOOKING-EMBELLISHMENTS/ and let me know what you make! Angelina Verbuni.

How to make cool bracelets at home that are unique and easy.

How to make cool bracelets is easy when you have the right parts. Take a look at what you see on the internet and it is all the same stuff. Now, how can a girl make something original and cool if you gotta work with string? String is OK if you can add some flashy parts to the design and "liven" things up! You know what I mean.

Jewelry making supplies are all the rage. You can find jewelry making tutorials and supplies online if you know the right search terms. I am going to give you the biggest clue to finding good parts for making jewelry. Shhhhh! The word that jewelers use to refer to any parts used to build jewelry is called findings. That is what you need if you want to make your own Original designs! You need jewelry findings. I will tell you where to get them and the special glue to put them together.

Starting out I strongly recommend that you use a very special type of glue. I have seen people try to copy my designs and they used super glue or something worse. Don't do it. The special glue you are looking for is called E6000 glue. You can find it on www.myelegantthings.com . It can last as long as 20 years. It maintains its elasticity so it does not dry out and lose its grip.
You can glue metal to metal with no problem. I have glued crystals and cabochon stones onto brass stampings to create some really unique pieces and I sold them for a lot of money. Sometimes I can get up to $175 for one design. As we go along, I will coach you on how to price your designs. So don't worry. I sold my jewelry at tradeshows for 8 years and always made money. I plan to incorporate the brass designs into wire wrapping jewelry, too. You are only limited by your imagination. If you hang out in this forum you will pick up a plethora of ideas.

It is my intention to give away as many of my secrets between now and Christmas.

You only need a few tools to get started making your own creations. Think about the idea of taking a bangle bracelet and attaching decorative pieces on top to make a one of a kind design.
You can watch some of our videos posted on youtube from one of our artists and jewelry designers, Brenda McDonald and you will see how easy you can do it.

The step by step jewelry videos will show you how to make charm bracelets and much more designs using new parts every week. You will see that all you need is a drill, pliers, an emery board and the parts or findings which you can choose to suit your own taste. Check out the many different parts and imagine the possibilities. Soon you will be showing others how to make cool bracelets.
